You may have been to the buzzing city of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, up to the Peak and down to the Temple Street and so on. Yet these are places that most locals won’t go normally. If you want to know how and where do Hong Kong people live their life, you have to come to the often forgotten land, the New Territories. By sharing my experiences of wandering around the NT, together we will find Hong Kong is more than normal tourist think.

We can go around the New Towns in Hong Kong where most of the Hong Kong people actually live. They all have distinctive character in my eyes and it is fascinating to feel and know about the community best by going to one or more of them together.

We can go explore the stories and heritage of native clans, staying here for more than 500 years, they left an abundant amount of treasure waiting for us to discover. They are hidden in or at the edge of the New Towns which makes interesting contrast between the new and the old.

We can hit any tasty street food or restaurants which local chill in. Since they are not in the expensive city, you will treat both your wallet and stomach well.

We can have some Kung Fu time together if you fancy Bruce Lee or Ip Man. I studied Wing Chun Kung Fu for 6 years and may contact my Sifu if he allows you to drop-in for a taster.

All these would be close to the city. Since Hong Kong is so small, you will not waste most of your time traveling while still you may rarely find a foreign tourist here. At last, all of these would be really local!

$400HKD / hour for up to 2 people (minimum 2 hours) and $400HKD / additional set of 2 people, does not include food or other miscellaneous costs
