HK island is where I live so I know the eats around Central / Sheung Wan pretty well. Shopping is best over on Kowloon side!
My background: grew up in Canada, lived and worked in UK for a few years, and been in HK for the past 3 years. I’m a veteran couchsurfing host (since 2008!) so I am quite familiar with showing people around town and tailoring itineraries according to specific interests. If you want an easy-going and humorous Local, I’m your go-to.
My favourite HK activity in HK (which I would highly recommend to everyone) is a boat ride on the Aqua Luna. Yes, it’s that red boat you always see in travel pictures of HK. Not a lot of people know you can actually ride on it. 45-min boat ride with lie down futons and a free drink for $200 HKD?! What a deal. I won’t be able to take people on it during my Outings, but it’s a great way to get unreal views of the harbour(s) and the iconic city skyline. Soooo there’s that tidbit for ya.
$400HKD / hour for up to 2 people (minimum 2 hours) and $400HKD / additional set of 2 people, does not include food or other miscellaneous costs
